How a copier works

1. The copier uses the potential characteristics of the optical conductor to charge the optical conductor without light, so that the surface is uniformly charged, and then through the principle of optical imaging, the original image is imaged on the optical conductor.

2. The image part is not illuminated, so the surface of the light conductor still has a charge, while the area without image is illuminated, so the charge on the surface of the light conductor passes through the ground of the substrate, so that the charge on the surface disappears, thus forming an electrostatic latent image.

3. Through the principle of electrostatic, toner with opposite polarity charge is used to convert the electrostatic latent image on the surface of the optical conductor into a toner image on the surface of the optical conductor. Through the principle of electrostatic, the toner image on the surface of the optical conductor is transferred to the surface of the copy paper to complete the basic process of copying.
